By submitting the jobs to Data Savers Pte Ltd (hereinafter refer to Data Savers), the customer(s) agreed with the following terms and conditions:
1. The Customer affirms that he/she is the legal rightful owner or representative of all data or data media that are sent to Data Savers Pte Ltd for data recovery work and that he/she has legal rights to access all data, information and files therein. The Customer attests that the recovered data will not be used for any illegal purposes. The Customer further attests that, Data Savers, in providing recovery services is not participating any illegal_activity.
2. Data Savers agrees to keep all submitted information, files and data in strictest confidentiality and will not disclose, transfer, duplicate, reproduce, retain, resell or in any way use all or any part of the information, files or data submitted to us. Reasonable measures will be taken by Data Savers to safeguard and protect all information, files or data while they are in posession of Data Savers, and to verify the identity of individuals to whom this information, files or data is released. Exception will be made when there are legal disputes between the customer and Data Savers and the legal jurisdiction need to review all information to make a judgement.
3. All unclaimed data media with us for more than two months (commencing from date of job submission) will be automatically scratched for reason of data confidentiality. No compensation will be given once the data is scratched.
4. In the case whereby customers' data media is lost, damaged by fire or any natural disaster while in custody of Data Savers, a maximum compensation of S$200 will be paid. It is agreed that the data could be of high value but the data is no longer accessible under normal circumstances and even with the best effort of Data Savers. Data Savers will not assume any data value in all data media.
5. It is understood that all data media given to us are not in working condition and therefore Data Savers could not be responsible for the condition of data media upon returning to the Customer after data recovery or preliminary diagnosis. All data media are treated as "spoilt" or "defective" by default. If the data media is in working condition, customers must back up all important data before passing the data media to us.
6. Under all circumstances, Data Savers will not be responsible for incomplete recovery of data due to its inherent nature. Upon accepting the quotation with the list of recoverable files, the cutomer has the option of coming down to our office to review the recovered data before accepting the job. Alternatively, verification could be done via sampled files sent through email. Customer is deemed to have accepted the job upon receiving the recovered data.
7. All prices and charges associated with the services will be made known to the customers via fax or email. Customer cannot cancel the job upon confirmation of job as resources would have been spent.
8. Email or fax is taken to be legal binding officially.
9. If the disk is opened up in Data Savers clean lab, a lab seal will be put in place to verify that Data Savers has indeed performed the recovered job on the disk. Generally there should not be any warranty claim issues but Data Savers will not be responsible in this aspect as the disk suppliers' policy may vary from time to time.
10. Recovered data by Data Savers will be destroyed after 2 weeks upon delivering the recovered data to the customers. Any subsequent request to look in the data will be treated as a new job. Data Savers could keep the recovered data for a longer period provided the cutomer makes a request through writing.
11. To collect back the original data media, the customer must inform Data Savers at least 4 hours in advance to make such a preparation.

Data Savers does not charge evaluation fee for the normal service. But cancellation fees will apply for Express data recovery service option and RAID/Server hard disk data recoveries. If the job consists of multiple disks/server rush service, the customer will be made known a revised cancellation fee.

There will be an upfront collectable and non-refundable S$200 service fee for tampered drives (i.e: hard drive that had been opened or seal broken)
